i'm Saara Vuola,
a Finnish photographer and filmmaker based in Italy & Helsinki.

after growing up in Switzerland and Finland i now live in Central Italy, in a small village near Rome, while still spending a couple of summer months every year in Helsinki, where my family lives and where i own a ceramics studio called Studio Savilla.

at the moment i mostly work at weddings; capturing love stories and celebrations on photo, film and video.

i'm most drawn towards authencity and anything that's a little bit outside of the box. i've lived a bit here and there throughout my life and when you've seen lots of different kinds of lives, there is little judgement left; i've been welcomed with open arms by so incredibly many that i simply can't hold a cynic heart. in my work i value artistic ambition and creating real trust and genuine relationships + unforgettable memories with my clients and collaborators.
