i'm Saara, a Finnish photographer and director based in a small village in Central Italy.

i'm most drawn towards authencity and anything that's a little bit outside of the box. in my work i value artistic ambition and creating genuine relationships and unforgettable memories with my clients and collaborators


i specialize in turning love stories and destination wedding in Italy & Europe into films and visual poems.  even though Italy might be a destination for you, for me it's my local place. many places actually are: i grew up in Switzerland and Finland, and eventually ended up feeling at home in Italy.

i offer filmmaking and photography, although as two separate services. 

i think the most important you need to know about my approach is that authencity is the key to it, inside out: both in my visual work, in my craft (my photography, even though digital, is as handcrafted as you can get) but also in how i connect with people: i want to build genuine connection with the people i work with.
