Oitbackan kartano

 I was asked to document the whole wonderful wedding day of I & A that was set in Oitbacka gård in Espoo, a big beautiful venue with so much green everywhere. 
The morning started calmly, with the groom, bride, bridesmaids and bestmans preparing themselves and each others. Suring the bridal party the bride handed over handwritten and personal letters to each bridesmaid. After the couple's first look, we had plenty of time to take the couple's portraits on the incredibly green and wide land of Oitbacka. I & A ran and danced together, I barefoot on grass – it's always a joy to capture a fun and playful couple. 
When guests arrived, they got Gin Tonics at their arrival. The ceremony was held in Oitbacka's beautiful Orangerie. 
After the ceremony guests walked across gardens towards the dinner location, welcome toasts were given.
For dinner I & A wanted to serve Mexican food! Wedding reception ended to a folk dance lesson by the groom's father, something that beautifully collected and connected all guests together as they formed one long row with everyone holding hands.
The afterparty was held back in the Orangerie and DJ sets were played by DJ friends - and the groom, a former DJ himself.
