Essi and Tomi got married on the last day of April. While the whole city was celebrating Vappu (Labour Day), we were at Hotel St. George taking Essi and Tomi's portrait in the most beautiful hotel room. The whole moment felt magical and was very intimate.  

The wedding party was held in Arkadia bookshop a few months later, in early autumn. A beautiful long table was set in the middle of the bookshop, windows looking at the pretty streets of Töölö. It was a dinner party full of style, laughter and only the couple's dearest ones. Their friends performed a surprise musical song and fun speeches were held. Essi planned all the visual ideas behind the wedding and had great creative ideas right from the beginning. I will always be greatful for her trust as she asked me to document their wedding when I still wasn't an actual wedding photographer - yet she saw that my style could work in a wedding setting. You could really say Essi and Tomi made me become a wedding photographer. Also, Essi and Tomi as a couple are a couple that makes you believe in love again.
